Club Membership

The WBDTC is made of of members of the community who have an interest in dogs. Many of us participate in a variety of dog sports including obedience, conformation, agility, musical freestyle and Rally Obedience. We also have taken part in expos, parades, and demos on behalf of the club.

Club meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7pm at the club training building.

We always welcome new members. Being active in dog sports not required!

Some of the advantages of becoming a member and paying yearly membership dues are:

  • access to the club training building and equipment for personal training
  • a member discount on classes
  • Invitation to member-only events. Events we've had in the past have included anniversary dinner and a craft day.
  • the chance to talk about dogs as much as you want!

Potential members must submit a membership application and attend 3 working functions which includes meetings and building clean-up days. Once an applicant has met that requirement, their upcoming vote is announced at the meeting after meeting the requirement and put in that meeting's minutes for publication in the minutes. They are then voted at at the next meeting.  They are considered a member of receiving a letter of acceptance form the membership secretary and paying an initiation fee and annual dues.
